New York Giants
It felt like the day before spring break on Tuesday at the Giants practice facility.
Most players were on their way out, headed to somewhere other than the East Rutherford, N.J. for the next five days. And Tom Coughlin’s coaching staff wasn't far behind.
Take a look at the vacation destinations for some Giants below:
Eli Manning: the Giants quarterback is heading to Mississippi to hang with friends and family, presumably catching up with some buddies from Ole Miss.
Brandon Jacobs: The Giants running back wouldn’t reveal his vacation plans, but they may involve house-hunting in Atlanta. Either way, the Giants medical staff won’t be far behind. Jacobs will receive treatment on his MCL injury, wherever he goes.
Tom Coughlin: The veteran coach plans to stick around during the break. “We will be here,” Coughlin said when asked about his vacation plans. Coughlin's assistants revealed that they will be given a few days off. Starting at 9 p.m. on Wednesday night, they are free.
Michael Boley: Boley plans to head down to Mississippi to watch his eight-year-old son play soccer. Wait, Boley’s kid plays soccer, not football? “That’s what his mom wants,” Boley said.
Antrel Rolle: Rolle laughed at the idea of staying in New Jersey during the bye. He and fellow safety and University of Miami alum Kenny Phillips are headed to Miami for their five-day break.
Jim Cordle: The backup lineman and long snapper is headed home to Circlesville, Ohio to partake in the legendary Circlesville Pumpkin Show. Around since 1903, the Pumpkin Show features a pumpkin pyramid, pumpkin carving contest and some of the largest pumpkins on earth. Snarky New Yorkers may laugh at the idea, but Cordle was pretty fired up about it.
