No Stralman Tuesday, Dubinsky "a left winger"

Anton Stralman will not play Tuesday against the Islanders. The newly-signed 25-year-old defenseman has had three days of practice with the team, but according to coach John Tortorella, still needs time to improve his conditioning and acclimate to the Rangers' system.

It sounds like Brandon Dubinsky's days as a center are over, at least for now.

"I think Dubi's a left winger," Tortorella said of the 25-year-old forward, who skated on a line with center Brian Boyle and right wing Ryan Callahan in practice Monday.

Tortorella said he thought Dubinsky had some good shifts at center earlier in the season, but ultimately doesn't believe that's where he belongs.

"We tried it, I want crazy about it and we put him back to wing."
