The Rangers have played just five games this season. So it's hard to analyze what this team is. When the Rangers play in Boston on Saturday, it will be their sixth game in 15 days. That makes it tough to get into a flow.
On Thursday, the Blueshirts slowed the Leafs' train by giving them their first regulation loss of the season.
This weekend, the Rangers play in Boston on Saturday and at home against the Devils on Sunday.
Does Henrik Lundqvist play both games? Tough call. You know that Lundqvist wants to play against the Devils. So on Saturday, in Boston, do you start Marty Biron again after a 24-save night against the Leafs?
I would play Lundqvist. It's still early. Henrik can handle back-to-back games. After all, he's played just 4 games in 2 weeks.
Players to watch for the Rangers.
Sean Avery -- He loves to play the Bruins. And the Boston fans love to get on him. Sean is a plus 4 on the season and has been playing with confidence. That could mean a little buzzing for Avery on Saturday and we know he will be in Martin Brodeur's head against the Devils Sunday.
Brandon Dubinsky -- After scoring 3 goals and 4 points in the first 2 games, Dubinsky has been blanked in the last 3. With the injuries, he needs to set it up.
Michael Del Zotto -- It didn't show it in the box score but Del Zotto had a really solid game on Thursday. He blocked 7 shots and had 3 shots on goal. It's that kind of play that makes this kid a stud.
