Hockey Prospectus posted its NHL player rankings this morning on ESPN Insider. New York Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist checked in at No. 4 among non-skaters with Dallas Stars G Kari Lehtonen -- who is playing out of his mind right now -- taking the top spot. You can read the rest of the list here (Insider subscription required).
Prior to the start of the season, Hockey Prospectus projected Lundqvist as the league's best goaltender and he's certainly been one of the most consistent since breaking into the league. Combined with Marty Biron, King Henrik has been nothing short of stellar to start the season, helping the Blueshirts to a league-best 2.00 goals against per game average despite the absence of all-star defenseman Marc Staal.
