Jets sign D'Anton Lynn, son of RBs coach

The Jets haven't announced the signings of any undrafted free agents, but they've reportedly reached agreement with at least 14 players. Nearly all of deals were announced by the players or their agents via Twitter. Here is an unconfirmed list:

D'Anton Lynn, DB, Penn State -- Son of Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn ... Good size (6-foot, 206) ... Productive three-year starter ... Suffered torn calf muscle in bowl game and aggravated the injury at the scouting combine ... Possible safety.

G.J. Kinne, QB, Tulsa -- Full name is Gary Joe, Jr. ... Began career at Texas ... Compiled 23-15 starting record at Tulsa ... Named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year in 2010 ... Two-time captain ... First player in school history to pass for 6,000 yards and rush for 1,000 ... 6-foot-1, 233 pounds.

Donnie Fletcher, CB, Boston College -- Two-year starter ... Team captain ... Disappointing senior year and Senior Bowl ... Better in zone coverage than man-to-man ... 6-foot, 201 pounds ... Two interceptions last season ... Possible safety.

Brady McKnight, PK, Montana -- First-round pick in the 2011 CFL draft (eligible because he was four years removed from high school) ... Capable of placekicking and punting ... Made all eight FG attempts at pro day, including a 60-yarder ... Made 21 of 28 FGs last season, with a 51 long.

Marcus Dowtin, LB, North Alabama -- 6-foot-2, 230 pounds ... Began career at Georgia, but throw off the team because of a bar fight in Ocean City, Md. Charged with second-degree assault, hitting a man and knocking him unconcious. Resolved before a court hearing, but Georgia coaches didn't find out until a couple of months later ... At NA, led the team in tackles (115).

Brian Linthicum, TE, Michigan State -- Clemson transfer ... 6-foot-4, 249 pounds ... Caught 31 passes for 364 yards last season ... Knee problem ... Arrested March, 2011, for a bar fight in Aspen, Colo. Charged with misdemeanor assault. Took a plea and received one year probation.

Ryan Steed, CB, Furman -- Ran a 4.66 in the 40 ... Two-time team captain ... 5-foot-11, 195 pounds ... Recorded four interceptions last season ... Contained South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery, drafted in the second round ... No. 6 on the Scouts, Inc., list of top undrafted players.

Damon Harrison, NT, William Penn (Iowa) -- Massive size -- 6-foot-2, 347 pounds ... Played at NAIA school after JUCO ... Has had two surgeries on each knee, including a microfracture surgery ... Sent thank-you emails to GMs that attended his pro day ... Led team in tackles (60) and tackles-for-loss (8.5).

Brett Roy, DE/OLB, Nevada -- 6-foot-3, 275 pounds ... Arrived on campus as a 205-pound safety, switched to linebacker, finally to defensive line ... Team captain ... Recorded 10 sacks, 18.5 tackles-for-loss last season.

John Cullen, LT, Utah -- 6-foot-5, 297 pounds ... Full name is John Wayne Cullen. Yes, his parents named him after the movie star ... Two-year starter ... Played rugby as a kid ... Struggled against USC DE Nick Perry (first-round pick).

Stephen Ruempolhamer, DT, Iowa State -- 6-foot-2, 287 pounds ... Underwent knee-cartilage surgery before last season ... Ran the 40 in 5.10 seconds at his pro day ... Three-year starter ... Co-captain ... Recorded 2.5 sacks and five tackles-for-loss last season ... Born in Hollard. Play club football in Holland.

Pushaun Brown, RB, Maine -- 5-foot-10, 207 pounds ... From New Brunswick, N.J. ... Ran for 1,093 yards, 4.8 ypc, 11 TDs last season ... Ran a 4.55 at his pro day.

Kris Burd, WR, Virginia -- 6-foot, 189 pounds ... Has had back and ankle surgeries ... Caught a team-high 66 passes for three TDs last season.

Don Robinson, LB, Jackson State -- 6-foot-3, 232 pounds ... Big numbers last season -- 58 total tackles and 16 sacks ... Made several pre-draft visits ... Ran a 4.74 at his pro day ... Undersized defensive end at JSU.
