Jets' final QB stats: Not pretty

The Jets spent a lot of time talking up Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow in training camp, but their final statistics from Cortland don't support the superlatives.

We're talking about a combined 51-percent completion rate, unofficially.

ESPNNewYork.com recorded the Sanchez and Tebow stats every day during the three-week run in Cortland. The numbers are ugly, to be sure, but there were mitigating factors: a new offensive system, a banged-up receiving corps and some moving parts on the offensive line, especially early in camp.

Anyway, here you go, the unofficial numbers from the 11-on-11 drills (non-contact for the QBs), including the intrasquad scrimmage:

Sanchez: 94-for-180 (52.2 pecent), four touchdown passes, six interceptions, 15 sacks, one touchdown run.

Tebow: 53-for-109 (48.6 percent), two touchdown passes, three interceptions, 21 sacks, three touchdown runs.
