Don't bother getting your popcorn ready. The Jets have no interest in signing unemployed WR Terrell Owens, a source said Tuesday.

Owens offered his services during Monday night's game, tweeting that he's ready, willing and able to suit up for the Jets, who lost Clyde Gates to a shoulder injury. Gates is scheduled for an MRI.

On a Tuesday morning conference call with reporters, Rex Ryan didn't immediately dismiss the idea, saying, "You never say never or anything. We'll look at all options, like we always do." But Ryan went on to say he doesn't think Gates' injury is serious and he expressed hope that rookie Stephen Hill (hamstring) can return this week.

"I would assume we would go with the same crew," Ryan said.

The same crew means Jeremy Kerley, Chaz Schilens, with Gates, Hill and newly signed Jason Hill, who had a big drop in the Jets' 23-17 loss to the Texans.
