Friday Injury Report: Keller likely out

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Jets tight end Dustin Keller is officially listed as doubtful with a sprained ankle after not practicing all week, but Jets coach Rex Ryan essentially said Keller wouldn’t be available when the Jets go to Jacksonville on Sunday.

“Yeah, and it doesn’t look like (he’s going to play),” Ryan said. “I say it’s doubtful whether he goes and you guys know me, doubtful generally means that he’s not going. It’s unfortunate, but this is like the sixth time this season that we haven’t had Dustin.”

Keller was hampered by a quad injury earlier in the year. Jeff Cumberland has stepped in, and Ryan is pleased with the way he is playing.

Keller, who was on the practice field today for the first time all week, was not available for an interview.
