Tim Tebow sounds like he has already moved on from the Jets.
Speaking at a function Saturday night in Naples, Fla., Tebow told a crowd of about 1,200 that he has no idea where he'll be playing in 2013.
"I may not know where I'm going next, but I know what's guiding me," he said, according to Naplesnews.com.
Tebow is under contract to the Jets (how many times have you heard that?), but his days with the team are numbered. They're trying to trade him, according to sources, but there's little chance of them finding a taker. Ultimately, they'll end up releasing him and he'll become the most talked-about free agent who played in less than 100 snaps last season.
On Monday, Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said he had a "long discussion" with Tebow, admitting he has spent time trying to figure out ways to incorporate Tebow into his offense. That's just PC talk, of course. The Jets are ready to move on. So, too, is Tebow.
