Another member of Mike Tannenbaum's inner circle is leaving the organization. On Monday, the Chargers announced the hiring of JoJo Wooden as their director of player personnel. It means three-fifths of the Tannenbaum Five is gone.
A quick review of changes to the Jets' football hierarchy over the past 12 months:
Tannenbaum, general manager: Fired after the season, replaced by John Idzik.
Scott Cohen, assistant GM: Remains with the team.
Joey Clinkscales, vice president, college scouting: Left last May to become the Raiders' director of player personnel, replaced by scout Jeff Bauer.
Terry Bradway, senior personnel executive: Remains with the team.
Wooden, assistant director of player personnel: Headed to the Chargers, along with area scout Kevin Kelly, hired as the director of college scouting.
Michael Davis, assistant director of college scouting: Contract not renewed last week.
