Inactives: DeVito, McKnight are up

PHILADELPHIA -- No surprises among the Jets' inactives.

DT Mike DeVito (knee) and RB/KR Joe McKnight (elbow) are back in the lineup after missing time with injuries. As expected, CB Marquice Cole (knee) is inactive.

The other inactives are QB Kevin O'Connell, WR Eron Riley, RB Bilal Powell, T Austin Howard, DT Kenrick Ellis and DT Martin Tevaseu.

There's only one lineup change for the Jets: Jamaal Westerman will replaced Garrett McIntyre as outside linebacker in the base defense. Westerman will play a critical role as the Jets try to defend the Eagles' outstanding speed.

Newly-signed S Gerald Alexander is active and, barring an injury to Eric Smith or Brodney Pool, will play only on special teams. The Jets want as much speed as possible on the field, so they're dressing only five defensive linemen and 10 defensive backs.

Remember, the Jets are without S Jim Leonhard, who underwent season-ending knee surgery.

The Eagles' inactives are CB Brandon Hughes, DE Darryl Tapp, DT Cedric Thornton, G Julian Vandervelde, T Winston Justice, DT Trevor Laws and LB Greg Lloyd.
