Postponed game rescheduled for March 28

The Magic-Knicks game that was postponed on Nov. 2 has been rescheduled for Monday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Madison Square Garden, the NBA announced Tuesday.

The Nov. 2 game was postponed because debris fell into the arena during overnight maintainance, which included cleaning asbestos-related materials in the attic above the ceiling.

The arena opened again on Nov. 5 when the Knicks hosted the Wizards.

"After receiving assurance from the city and environmental experts regarding the safety of the arena for our customers and employees, all events at Madison Square Garden, beginning with Friday night's Knicks game, will go on as scheduled," the team said in a statement on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
