The Knicks have shown interest in Rockets' third-string point guard Jonny Flynn, a source told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.
Broussard reports that the Knicks offered Mike Bibby and Renaldo Balkman for Flynn, but the Rockets weren't interested.
Broussard reports that the Lakers have also expressed interest in Flynn.
The Knicks are desperate for help at the point guard position. They have struggled mightily on offense due in large part to the lack of a veteran point guard.
They had hoped that Baron Davis would return to the court in late January or early February but he recently suffered a setback in his rehabilitation. There is no timetable for his return.
