DALLAS -- In the first meeting between the Knicks and Mavericks, Jeremy Lin had to shake Shawn Marion and Jason Kidd.
In the rematch at the American Airlines Center, Lin was covered by a gaggle of defenders: Jason Terry, Rodrigue Beaubois, Kidd and Marion.
The Mavericks doubled Lin several times in the Tuesday night loss, delaying the Knicks from getting into a flow offensively.
When his night was over, Lin finished with 14 points in 33 minutes on 4-of-13 shooting. He had seven assists and two turnovers.
"Dealing with double teams," Lin said of the offense. "Coming off of double teams, and they did a good job of taking away our first option. I need to do a better job of getting the ball out quick or to a different person."
