Davis makes cameo in 'That's My Boy'

Baron Davis plays a gym teacher in Adam Sandler's new movie "That's My Boy," which opened in theaters nationwide on Friday.

"That's My Boy," a comedy about a father (Sandler) trying to reconnect with his son (Andy Samberg), also features Jets head coach Rex Ryan. His character, named Jim Nance after the star running back for the 1960s Boston Patriots, is a lawyer whose office is decorated with Patriots paraphernalia, Bruins jerseys and Red Sox pennants.

Davis isn't the first Knick to make a cameo appearance as an actor. Amare Stoudemire acted as a party dancer in last year's film "New Year's Eve." Carmelo Anthony appeared in one episode of "Nurse Jackie" about a month ago.
