So we all know the good news: Carmelo Anthony wants to join the Knicks. The bad news? Potentially the Knicks roster.
According to the New York Daily News, the Knicks' offer would include Eddy Curry's expiring contract, a future first-round pick and Danilo Gallinari. But a Nuggets source said, "What do they have? That makes it tough."
The Knicks seem to have already reacted and now may prefer to do an in-season trade. On top of that, the Nuggets are reportedly close to hiring a new GM, so Anthony could see a better offer thrown his way. Right now, it's clear who's controlling the tempo.
If Anthony comes to the Knicks, could his former Nuggets teammate Allen Iverson follow?
After Isiah Thomas supposedly told James Dolan that he guarantees Anthony will join the Knicks, New York Magazine grilled Amare Stoudemire to see what role Thomas had in recruiting him to the Big Apple.
Speaking of Amare, he's now featured in a giant-sized billboard in Times Square and a new Foot Locker commercial. And, as always, he's keeping up with his Jewish studies, practicing "spiritually and culturally" and keeping kosher. He even has a tattoo of the Star of David on his left hand.
With Amare now a Knick, Forbes has an idea for a team marketing campaign that can play up the team's new era.
Blazers shooting guard Rudy Fernandez, who holds high interest with the Knicks, was fined $25,000 for public statements detrimental to the league, relating to his comments about not wanting to return to Portland.
Finally, in a previous post I mentioned "Entourage's" Turtle and Chris Bosh's exchange on the show, in which Turtle makes a reference to the Knicks. Well, here's video of it.
