Starting tonight against the Thunder, the Knicks begin a difficult seven-game stretch over 12 days.
If they tumble, they can find themselves out of contention for the No. 2 seed in the East and in a five-team scrum for the third to seventh seeds, ESPN Insider Bradford Doolitte writes.
If the Knicks adhere to the principles they showed in their 18-5 start and add a few new wrinkles, though, they should be just fine, Doolittle writes.
