The flattop is gone.
Knicks' guard Iman Shumpert has cut his popular flattop and gone back to the closely-cropped haircut he had his rookie year.
Shumpert's flattop had gained a cult-like following. It's unclear at this point why the third-year guard decided to cut his hair.
Shumpert is in a battle with J.R. Smith for the starting shooting guard spot. Maybe Shumpert's trying to impress Mike Woodson with his new cut.
One teammate was impressed with Shumpert's new look.
"We're happy it happened and I'm pretty sure he feels better," Carmelo Anthony said. "It's good to see him like that. I like it."
