Another game, another opposing star on the bench?
For the second time in two games, the Knicks may face an opponent without one of its top scorers, according a to a report.
The agent for Warriors guard Stephen Curry told USA Today that Curry will 'probably' sit out Wednesday's game against the Knicks.
Curry tweaked a pre-existing ankle injury in the Warriors' win over the Bulls on Monday night.
If Curry sits, it will take a big burden off of the Knicks' perimeter defenders, who would have their hands full with Curry and guard Monta Ellis.
It will be the second time in two games that the Knicks will have faced a team without one of its stars. New York beat the Boston Celtics on Sunday with Paul Pierce on the bench due to a heel injury.
The Knicks will play the Lakers on Thursday without Andrew Bynum. Bynum is serving a four-game suspension for delivering an elbow to J.J. Barea in the playoffs.
