The New York Mets have signed right-hander Jim Henderson to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Henderson, 33, has appeared in 111 career major league games in relief with the Milwaukee Brewers. He underwent shoulder surgery in 2014.
Henderson becomes the third player signed by the Mets to a minor league deal this offseason. He joins utility player Ty Kelly and reliever Stolmy Pimentel.
