Closer Francisco Rodriguez officially entered a guilty plea in court in Queens on Friday morning to a attempted assault and two counts of disorderly conduct. As part of the agreement, he will be required to attend a 52-session anger-management program, pay $14,044.65 in restitution and a $1,000 fine.
K-Rod, who declined to comment, already had forfeited $3.1 million in Mets salary while settling his grievance over striking his girlfriend's father outside the family room at Citi Field in August.
His criminal attorney, Christopher Booth, described his client as "very remorseful and ready to put this behind him."
