New York Mets
Two-strike hitting has been a significant issue for David Wright over the past two seasons.
Both of Wright's home runs Sunday came with two strikes. It was the first game with two home runs with two strikes for Wright in nearly five years (April 28, 2006). All three of Wright's home runs with two strikes have come in the last four days. He didn't hit his third two-strike home run last year until August 17.
Wright is 3-for-7 in two-strike situations over the past four games (all Mets wins), missing only once on his 14 swings. Wright typically misses on about one of every four two-strike swings.
