New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes wasn't sure if Philadelphia Phillies starter Vance Worley was trying to hit him on Sunday afternoon. But Reyes seemed to be willing to give Worley the benefit of the doubt.

"It was close," Reyes said. "I don't know. Maybe not. I don't know."
After Reyes tripled off Worley to lead off the first inning of the Mets' 9-5 victory, Worley came up and in with a first-pitch fastball that nearly took Reyes' head off in the second.
Reyes seemed to be upset as he glanced at Worley afterward.
"It was a little close to my head," Reyes said. "I don’t think he tried to throw at me. I don’t know. I don’t think so."
