Sure, Jason Bay has had a nice run over the last six weeks (.266/.336/.477). But, as ESPN Insider's Matt Meyers points out, the hot streak has been against a lot of Triple-A pitchers called up late in the season for non-contenders and after rosters expand.
The Mets' front office, Meyers argues, should not be blinded by Bay's run. Instead, they should cut ties with him, Meyers argues.
