Randy Fontanez, a 27th-round pick in 2011 from South Florida, failed to retire any of the seven batters he faced. He surrendered a grand slam to Pete Kozma and was charged with five earned runs on four hits and three walks.
Armando Rodriguez did contribute two no-hit innings.
Lucas Duda went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, lifting his Grapefruit League average to .302 despite a slow start. Duda produced his fifth homer.
