Tejada was visited by a trainer after Chad Tracy slid into Tejada at second base while he reached back for the errant toss from Murphy. Tejada remained in the game.
"I tried to make the double play, and the ball was a little bit to my right," Tejada said. "I tried to come out with my right foot, and he sat on my foot. It's a little bit [sore], but it's OK. I'm good. I'm good. It's nothing bad."
Said Terry Collins: "We'll wait until tomorrow. He rolled it pretty good. After he got up and knew it was OK, he said he could say in. But we'll wait to see how he is tomorrow."
