Game 96: Mets @ Dodgers

12:55 a.m.: Mets scoreless in 17 innings. They're shut out by the Dodgers, 2-0, and have a 1-7 record in the second half.

12:26 a.m.: Hisanori Takahashi's final line: 7 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 1 HR, 105 pitches (67 strikes)

12:15 a.m.: Matt Kemp solo homer off Hisanori Takahashi in the seventh. Dodgers 2, Mets 0. The Mets have gone scoreless 15 straight innings.

11:57 p.m.: Angel Pagan jumps by the wall in left-center on a shot by Rafael Furcal for the first out of the bottom of the sixth. Looks like Hisanori Takahashi will remain in the rotation and pitch Wednesday at Citi Field, but Mets trail 1-0 in this game.

11:07 p.m.: The Mets have placed two runners on base through four innings. Both have been erased on attempted steals -- David Wright in the first inning and Jose Reyes in the fourth.

10:57 p.m.: Offensive woes continue for Mets. They've been held scoreless through three innings by Hiroki Kuroda. The Dodgers lead, 1-0, on an RBI double off the right-field wall by Matt Kemp against Hisanori Takahashi.

10:10 p.m.: As promised, Jerry Manuel is sitting Carlos Beltran, Jason Bay and Rod Barajas in Thursday's series opener at Dodger Stadium.
