Injured Mets reliever Frank Francisco (elbow) gave up a solo homer and struck out two while pitching for the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Mets on Wednesday.
Francisco, who received a pair of cortisone shots in July, pitched in his first game since July 15. He threw off a mound on Aug. 13.
Francisco has been out all year after having surgery in December to remove a bone spur from his right elbow.
Francisco is in the final year of the two-year, $12 million deal he signed with the team.
