Friday's Mets-Cards lineups

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Here are the lineups for the Mets' 1:10 p.m. Grapefruit League game Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals at Tradition Field (SNY).

This potentially resembles the Opening Day lineup, assuming Eric Young Jr. is the leadoff hitter. Simply remove the DH slot and put Ike Davis or Lucas Duda at first base instead of Josh Satin, who should play regularly against left-handed pitching.

Daisuke Matsuzaka, the original Friday starter, gets the first inning over John Lannan, who should pitch subsequently.

David Wright and Daniel Murphy make their 2014 Grapefruit League debuts, while Ruben Tejada returns from a hamstring injury.
