Sandy confirms Ike and Duda make team

VIERA, Fla. -- The Mets are planning to carry Ike Davis and Lucas Duda on the Opening Day roster, Sandy Alderson confirmed.

The GM noted that the Mets have the DH in Anaheim the second week of the season, which could allow both to simultaneously be in the lineup those days.

As for the playing-time distribution, which should include Josh Satin facing lefty pitching, Alderson said: "I would say right now that I expect both of them to be on the team. As to who is going to be playing first base, I couldn't tell you at this point because we haven't decided."
