Donald Trump tweets at Matt Harvey, Mets

NEW YORK -- Donald Trump, seeking the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, offered a shout-out to Matt Harvey and the New York Mets on Tuesday morning.

After the New York Daily News ran a front-page headline critical of Harvey thanking Trump for a round of golf at one of his courses, Trump tweeted to his 3.2 million followers:

Harvey's Instagram thank you to Trump, which subsequently was deleted, came amid companies -- including ESPN -- distancing themselves from the presidential candidate over his comments about illegal immigration from Mexico.
