Farmar will play Wednesday night

NEWARK, N.J. -- The New Jersey Nets will have backup point guard Jordan Farmar in their lineup on Wednesday night against the New Orleans Hornets, several media outlets reported.

Farmar, who is averaging 9.5 points and 4.4 assists per game, will return after missing the last six games with a strained lower back. Head coach Avery Johnson said he will not put a restriction on Farmar's minutes.

Rookie Ben Uzoh had been assuming the backup point guard duties in Farmar's absence.
