NEWARK, N.J. -- Nets power forward Kris Humphries will miss Monday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers with a sore left shoulder, the team announced.
Shelden Williams will start in his place. The Nets also announced that rookie second-round pick Jordan Williams, who has been out because of dehydration, was activated.
The 26-year-old Humphries is averaging 12.4 points and 10 rebounds per game for New Jersey (1-4), which has lost its last four games.
Coach Avery Johnson called Humphries a game-time decision during his pre-game press conference, but apparently he was not well enough to play.
