Williams to make D-League debut tonight

Terrence Williams, along with 76ers rookie Craig Brackins, will be in the lineup tonight for the NBA Development League affiliate, the Springfield Armor (The Republican). Avery Johnson recently demoted Williams to the team following repeated team violations. "It’s our first time being in this situation so there will be some trial and error trying to figure out minutes for those guys and our guys," Armor coach and ex-NBA player Dee Brown said. "It’s a problem we didn’t have last year but I’ll take that problem for 50 games if I have to."

While Brackins is expected to be with the Armor through the end of December, Williams’ assignment has no timetable. But Brown said there is a chance that Williams will be back with the Nets after this weekend because Devin Harris is out with a left knee strain.
