Wednesday: Hip, hip, hurrah?

Will A-Rod play tonight? Is his hip all better? Will his agent disrupt the flow of news from Jets camp with an ill-timed leak? Stay tuned – Wally Matthews and Kieran Darcy will have the word from Yanks-Phils tonight, Ian O’Connor will chip in with a column and we’ll continue to highlight our 2009 World Series retrospective. Meanwhile, Adam Rubin is in Cleveland with the Mets, who could be in first place this time tomorrow. Jon Niese is on the mound trying to follow-up his one-hitter, so we’ve got a Mark Simon advance with Mets fans talking about their all-time favorite pitching performances.

More football in June: Rich Cimini and Jane McManus at the third day of the Jets’ eventful minicamp, which comes with its own set of questions (mostly relating to Darrelle Revis’ truthiness and Nick Mangold’s sulkiness). Ohm Youngmisuk is at Day 2 of the Giants’ camp, which yesterday featured Osi’s determination and the first open practice at the new stadium – the closeness of fans to the benches didn’t sit well. Also, Osi and Justin Tuck say the Jets should "pay the man".

The Ian Report: O’Connor explains why the Nets got it right with Avery Johnson.
