The No. 6 seed on the women’s side went down today when French Open champion Li Na lost to Simona Halep.
With Na out out of the women’s draw, the star power continues to dim. On Monday, No. 4 Petra Kvitova lost her first-round match, meaning the defending Wimbledon champ was gone.
Kim Clijsters, who won the Australian and was the defending U.S. Open champ, withdrew before the tournament began. Na's loss means there are no more current Grand Slam singles winners in the draw.
