Former Yankees center fielder Bernie Williams received a long, loud ovation after throwing out the ceremonial first pitch of Game 4 of the ALCS.
Williams, the four-time world champ who played 16 seasons in pinstripes, tossed a high floater to Jorge Posada, who is the Yankees' backup catcher tonight with A.J. Burnett on the mound.
Williams had a messy divorce from the Yankees in 2006, but seemed happy to be back in the Bronx.
Burnett, surprisingly, received a warm welcome from the fans during introductions.
