Rafael Soriano? Never mind

A few posts down, we said why the Yankees and Rafael Soriano might make sense. Well, never mind.

A source tells ESPN NY's Wally Matthews that the Yankees are not interested now in Soriano and they won't be in the future. The Yankees don't want to pay closer money for a setup guy so don't expect Soriano to be the eighth inning guy.

This means, as of right now, Joba Chamberlain and David Robertson will fight it out for the eighth. Again, that is as of right now.
