Four of a kind not good for Sabathia

It's good to have four of a kind in poker. Not so much as a pitcher.

Yankees ace CC Sabathia gave up his career-high fourth home run of the game and the Yankees trail the Rays 4-1 in the fifth inning on Friday night. The fourth home run came off the bat of Elliot Johnson, who is hitting .179 on the year.

Sabathia, after allowing just six home runs in his last 23 starts, has now allowed six home runs in his last three starts and five over his last two starts. No matter how he finishes this game, Sabathia has already yielded 11 runs over his last two starts, which is tied for the most he's giving up over that span. Unless the Yankees offense bails him out, he will lose consecutive starts for the first time all season.
