Pre-Game Notes: Not surprisingly, most of the regulars get the night off now that the AL East title has been secured. Funny moment before the game: Robinson Cano came in, saw Derek Jeter's name at the top of the lineup card, and turned walked over to Jeter's locker. "You?'' he shrieked in disbelief, and began laughing. But he should know: Jeter never wants to take a night off . . . Now that it is highly unlikely that Francisco Cervelli will be well enough to play in th epost-season, expect to see more of Jesus Montero behind the plate as the Yankees try to decide whether to take him or Austin Romine into October as the backup to Russell Martin. Speaking of Martin, Joe Girardi seemed a little squeamish about his catcher's pre-game "I hate the Red Sox'' proclamation. "I don't ever like to fuel anything,'' Girardi said. "But boys will be boys.'' . . . Bartolo Colon is 9-4 lifetime vs. the Rays with a 3.71 ERA. But he is 0-2 against them this year, losing 3-2 on July 19 in St. Petersburg and 5-1 on July 7 at Yankee Stadium . . . Rays starter Matt Moore is making his first career start. Moore went 12-3 with a 1.92 ERA in AA this season and struck out 210 batters in 155 IP.
