Rafael Soriano gave up what proved to be the game-winning home run to Delmon Young in the seventh. Soriano didn't think there was anything wrong with the pitch, a 95-MPH fastball.
"I think it was a good pitch," Soriano said through a translator. "A fastball away and he hit it out."
Soriano actually had done some good work, coming in during the sixth and stranding a man on third. For the first time all season, he sat between innings and returned to pitch. He said he didn't think that any impact on the homer.
"I was ready for that situation," Soriano said.
