Grant Field is now "Florida Auto Exchange Stadium," and the aluminum bleachers I remember have been replaced by blue plastic seats, but the place still has a slightly dilapidated late-20th-century minor league charm. Fans begging for autographs can get much closer to the field here than in Tampa, where officious ushers inexplicably refuse to allow people to look into the Yankees' bullpen. Good to see they still sell Labatt's Blue for the Jays fans, too.
Yankees royalty in the house: Reggie Jackson and Stick Michael watching Yankees' minor leaguers take BP -- including OF Zoilo Almonte, who is 5-for-6 with 7 RBIs so far this spring. Anybody else out there remember Zoilo Versalles?
