The Daily Cervelli

The Daily Cervelli is a recurring feature of the blog in which we will chart the progress of Francisco Cervelli, the popular former Yankees backup catcher, as a member of the AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.

Last night, Francisco Cervelli went 0-for-4 again as the AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees lost their third straight, 4-0, to the Syracuse Chiefs. ManBoy Banuelos took the loss, lasting just 3-1/3 innings.

But I'm really beginning to worry about Cervelli. He is now 0-for-10 since being demoted to SWB, with 4 strikeouts. He doesn't seem to be adjusting to his new surroundings at all. I'm starting to fear we will never see him in the Bronx again, and, as they say in Italy, "Che sarebbe un peccato.'' Or, that would be a shame.
