While Phil Hughes is working on a pretty good game in Kansas City, Andy Pettitte had a rough one in Rochester, allowing five runs (three earned) in five innings for the AAA Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees vs. the Pawtucket Red Sox. Pettitte's first baseman dropped a foul pop on the first hitter of the day, but Pettitte allowed in succession a double, a single, a double and a single before getting his first out. A passed ball by Francisco Cervelli led to a second inning run, and in the fourth, a single, double and sac fly accounted for two more runs. Pettitte threw 95 pitches (62 strikes). We'll get Joe Girardi's assessment of how he looked after the game.
