Tino gets warm ovation at Yankee Stadium

New York Yankees fans welcome Tino Martinez back to Yankee Stadium with a warm ovation.

There just weren't that many of them.

As it gets closer and closer to first pitch, the stands at Yankee Stadium are no more than three quarters full, with sections of the stadium nearly completely empty. This is a problem that has plagued the Yankees this postseason as sections of the stands have plenty of empty seats.

Martinez, 44, played with the Yankees from 1996-2001 and 2005 and won four titles with the team as their first baseman. He hit .276 in his seven years in pinstripes and hit 192 homers and drove in 739 runs during his time in the Bronx. He finished second in the MVP voting in 1997 and was a one-time All-Star with the Yankees.

First pitch is now just minutes away.
