Game 9, Take II: Yankees (4-4) @ Indians (3-5)

CLEVELAND -- Here is the Yankees lineup for tonight's game against the Indians and RHP Zach McAllister:

Brett Gardner CF

Robinson Cano 2B

Kevin Youkilis 3B

Tra vis Hafner DH

Vernon Wells LF

Ichiro Suzuki RF

Eduardo Nunez SS

Lyle Overbay 1B

Francisco Cervelli C

Phil Hughes RHP

Notes: After a one-day bout with a stomach ailment, Hughes is well enough to make the start tonight. But if there's an early rain delay and Joe Girardi decides not to send Hughes back out, Ivan Nova, who was skipped in the rotation so Hughes and the rest of the staff could on rotation, will be the first man out of the bullpen . . . Yesterday's rainout counted as Ichiro's day off, so he's back in the lineup today and Brennan Boesch sits out . . . Girardi said the brace was removed from Curtis Granderson's right arm today and he practiced some throws. As Girardi said yesterday, Derek Jeter was given the day off after engaging in drills for two straight days in Tampa . . . Mark Teixeira turned 33 today, and hopes to get a belated birthday present tomorrow when his right wrist is examined by the Yankees hand specialist, after which he could be cleared to begin swinging a bat . . . The Yankees three scheduled starters for the weekend series against the Orioles, CC Sabathia, Hiroki Kuroda and Andy Pettitte, were flown home ahead of the team this afternoon.
