NEW YORK -- Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez will move up to Double-A Trenton starting Monday, according to Yankees GM Brian Cashman.
Rodriguez is currently playing for Single-A Tampa, and will wrap up his stint with the team Sunday. Rodriguez is 2-for-18 during his rehab assignment, which has also included time with Single-A Charleston. He went 0-for-3 on Saturday.
Double-A Trenton is on the road against Reading from Monday to Wednesday, but it begins a seven-game home stand starting Thursday. Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is on its All-Star break early in the week, and it too returns home Thursday.
Rodriguez's 20-day rehab window ends July 21.
