Monday's lineup vs. Blue Jays

TORONTO -- Yes, The Captain is back and finally, with just 32 games left in the season, the lineup is starting to resemble the Yankees again. Here's what Joe Girardi is sending out tonight against the Blue Jays and right-handed knuckleballer R.A. Dickey:

Brett Gardner CF

Derek Jeter SS

Robinson Cano 2B

Alfonso Soriano LF

Curtis Granderson DH

Alex Rodriguez 3B

Lyle Overbay 1B

Ichiro Suzuki RF

Austin Romine C

Phil Hughes RHP

Aside from Jeter's (third) return, tonight marks the first time all season that Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Curtis Granderson have all been in the same lineup ... Rodriguez is dropped to sixth for the first time this season, but Girardi said that was just to avoid stacking three lefties -- Granderson, Overbay and Ichiro -- in his batting order ... Hughes is 5-5 with a 4.80 ERA in 18 career starts vs. Toronto. Last time he pitched here, on Sept. 30, 2012, he took a no decision, but allowed five earned runs in 4 2/3 innings ... Dickey is 3-3, 3.44 ERA lifetime against the Yankees, but 0-2 this year with a 4.20 ERA. Five days ago, the Yankees beat him in New York, 4-2, on a home run by Soriano.
