NEW YORK -- In case you were wondering whether Mariano Rivera would pitch in what is likely his final game at Yankee Stadium, manager Joe Girardi has your answer.
"There's probably a good chance, yeah," Girardi said.
The better question is whether Rivera will play the field or get an at-bat if the Yankees are eliminated. Rivera (0-for-3 with an RBI walk in four plate appearances) has never had a hit before.
I'd say yes, because it would be awesome. In fact, why not just let him play a whole game in center?
