TAMPA, Fla. -- It will be 3 a.m. Sunday in Japan when the Phillies-Yankees exhibition begins today, but that won't stop two Japanese TV stations from broadcasting the Yankees' spring training game.

The fuss, of course, is for 25-year-old, $155 million man Masahiro Tanaka's Yankees debut.

Tanaka is expected to take the mound in the fifth inning. He is the main event on a day that includes Derek Jeter's second appearance of the spring and CC Sabathia's first start. Hiroki Kuroda will serve as the bridge from Sabathia to Tanaka.

By the time Tanaka enters in the fifth, many of the regulars might be out, but here are the lineups Joe Girardi and Ryne Sandberg are putting forth:

Brett Gardner, LF

Derek Jeter, SS

Brian McCann, DH

Brian Roberts, 2B

Francisco Cervelli, C

Kelly Johnson, 3B

Ichiro Suzuki, RF

Corban Joseph, 1B

Mason Williams, CF

Sabathia, P

Ben Revere, CF

Jimmy Rollins, SS

Domonic Brown, LF

Marlon Byrd, DH

Bobby Abreu, RF

Darin Ruf, 1B

Cody Asche, 3B

Cameron Rupp, C

Cesar Hernandez, 2B

David Buchanan, P

Notes: Alfonso Soriano (flu) is feeling better. He is scheduled to travel to Dunedin on Sunday and said he expects to play in his first game of the spring against the Blue Jays. ... McCann is the DH today, which is something he has done only 11 times in the regular season in interleague games with the Atlanta Braves. McCann said he looks at DHing as a day off but said he still hopes to start 125-130 games at catcher this season. He hasn't caught that many since 2010, when he was behind the plate for 129 games. The past three years: 118, 113 and 91. McCann was limited at the beginning of 2013 because of offseason shoulder surgery. ... Today's game is on YES. To get you ready, I'll be on with Alan Hahn on ESPN New York 98.7 at 12:15. You can stream it here. You can follow me on Twitter here.
